Josh Galen is a Principal at Bedford Property Group. As a principal investor, Josh has acquired and managed $100M+ multifamily assets throughout the Midwest, Sunbelt and Los Angeles. In addition to his principal investing activities, Josh was an advisor at Northmarq, where he assisted in arranging debt and equity financing for Northmarq’s institutional clients.

Prior to starting his principal investing activities, Josh served as a Director at Pacific Urban Investors (“PUI”), a multifamily owner/operator spanning 15 states with a portfolio of ~ 21,000 units. At PUI, he was responsible for the acquisition, asset management, underwriting and due diligence of over $700M in joint-venture/preferred equity investments totaling 1,740 units. Josh began his career working for Argentic Investment Management, a Real Estate debt fund focused on providing debt financing to owners throughout the United States.

Josh received his Master of Science in Finance from the University of Southern California. He also earned a BS in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.

Sean is a Principal at Bedford Property Group. As a principal investor, Sean has acquired and managed multifamily assets, developed single-family homes, and secured entitlements for several projects. In addition to his principal investing activities, Sean developed a robust network of real estate operators as an advisor on Northmarq’s Institutional Equity Advisors team.

Previously, Sean served as the Director of Global Strategy at CBRE, where he partnered with executive leadership to refine business strategies across CBRE’s real estate investment segment (CBRE Investment Management & Trammell Crow Company). Earlier in his career, Sean worked with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Marcus & Millichap Company (a private holding company with interests in  Pacific Urban Investors, Summerhill Housing Group, and Meridian Property Company). He began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Sean holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He earned a Bachelor of Science from California State University.

Bercut is responsible for Capital Markets activity at Bedford Property Group. In addition to his work with Bedford, Bercut serves as Managing Director for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) within its Capital Markets Group where he advises institutional clients on development, acquisition, and recapitalization transactions across the country with an emphasis on the multi-housing sector. Throughout his career he has arranged in excess of $8 billion in debt and equity financing. In addition to his work with JLL, Mr. Smith has served as general partner on various multifamily transactions. Bercut received a BS in agricultural business from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
